Our adult classes are run on a drop-in basis. If you wish to attend a class, please call or text the studio at 608-797-2547 or stop in to sign up at least two days in advance. Classes with less than four participants may be cancelled and we will attempt to contact those signed up by the close of business hours the previous day.
Our drop-in rate is $15 per class or buy an Adult Class punch card that includes 12 classes for $150. This punch card can be used for ANY adult class that we offer. The Adult Strength & Flexibility will not be run on a drop-in basis, text the studio for more info!
Your very first class is always FREE, so don't be afraid to try it out!
We ask that you wear fitted athletic clothes to all adult classes. See class descriptions below for suggested or required footwear.
Barre workout will focus on your whole body using movements based in ballet, Pilates, yoga, conditioning, and stretching. Classes focus on posture, strength, alignment, core work, and flexibility. Barre workout is designed to be a low impact fitness class and is perfect for all abilities.
Socks, bare feet, or ballet shoes are appropriate footwear for this class.
Learn basic grooves and isolations, listen to good music, and move your body with us in Adult Hip Hop! This class is perfect for beginner and intermediate hip hop dancers who are looking to learn the foundations of the style. Sneakers and athletic wear are appropriate for this class.
Focusing on classical technique, Adult Ballet is geared toward beginner or intermediate dancers who would like to gain flexibility, range of motion, and confidence in ballet. In this class you will also learn choreography from various classical and contemporary ballets. Whether you are a first time dancer or long time dancer, this class is for you!
Socks or ballet shoes are appropriate for this class.
For beginner tappers or tap dancers who like to keep their technique fresh, this class will help you pair new and exciting rhythms with music. This class will be upbeat and help strengthen and stretch your body. No experience is necessary! Don't have tap shoes or have never tried tap before? No worries, we have slip on taps to put over tennis shoes for you to use for your first class.
Tap shoes are required for this class and can be purchased new or used in our retail store.
Adult Strength & Flexibility are for adults who want to improve their overall range of motion, reduce tension areas in their body, and to improve mobility. This class spends 20 minutes on pilates-based strengthening exercises and 40 minutes on flexiblity exercises. We use strength supported stretches to make sure of correct placement and that we don't go past our safe range of motion. Many of our adults have expressed they feel a difference in their body for a few days after class and that they have felt noticable differences in their hip and neck tension.
Socks or barefeet are appropriate for this class.
